Finding Shalom: Peace with God, Self, and Others
A devotional reflection from Inner City Mission on the journey from brokenness to wholeness.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
At Inner City Mission, we believe that transformation begins on the inside. Homelessness is often just a symptom of deeper wounds - broken relationships, lost hope, and disconnection from God's love.
Our vision is for every person shattered by homelessness to find Shalom - that Hebrew word that means so much more than just "peace." It means wholeness, completeness, and rightness with God, yourself, and others.
Today, take a moment to consider: Where in your life do you need Shalom? Where are you broken that needs healing? God's promise is clear - He has plans for your hope and your future...
